Nothing on the page competes with your handwriting. Minimalist printable calendars and planners, in A4 and US Letter.
Most planners are decorated. Mine are not.
A page you write on every day should get out of the way. That is the whole idea behind RuledByPaper. No pattern, no clip art, no motivational quote in the corner — only the lines you actually need, set in type that stays quiet. Most pages are pure black and white. A few put colour on the weekend and nowhere else, so Saturday and Sunday stand out at a glance without turning the sheet into a poster.
That sounds simple. Making it print properly is the part that takes the time.
Every file carries both A4 and US Letter in the same download. I lived in the United States for years and work from Korea now, which is the unglamorous reason both sizes are taken seriously here — I have printed on Letter and on A4 long enough to know they are not interchangeable. Neither one is an afterthought: each is drawn and checked separately, because a page squeezed to fit is a page with the wrong margins. Every calendar also comes in both Monday-start and Sunday-start, and the grid genuinely shifts; the weekday headings are not simply relabelled.
The small decisions are where quiet paper is won or lost. The grid lines are a particular grey, chosen because a lighter one disappears on a home inkjet. Where colour does appear on the weekend, both shades are dark enough that a black-and-white printer turns them into a clear grey rather than a washed-out smudge — the weekend still reads on a plain office printer. Fonts are embedded in every PDF, so the file looks the same on your machine as it does on mine.
And the pages get checked on paper, at actual size, not just on a screen. Margins, cut lines, the size of the cash envelope cards — those are things you cannot judge on a monitor.
Every calendar also comes as an iPad edition with tap-to-jump month tabs, so the same purchase works in GoodNotes, Notability or Noteshelf as well as on paper.
Everything is an instant download, for personal use. If a file does not print the way you expected, message me — I would rather fix it than leave you with a page that does not work.
Thank you for looking.
