Unique Customizable Handmade Affordable Wedding Invitations
In early 2009 I decided to put my BFA degree and awesome design skills to good use by designing a unique wedding invitation set for a close friend who was getting married. A version of her design (Flower Paint) is still available to this day as one of the most popular designs in my Etsy shop. After making her invitations all by hand, I had another friend and the original first bride’s sister request invitations, designed just for them. A friends mom said “Hey, you should look into selling your invitation designs on Etsy!” so I looked into it, and started RunkPock Designs on Etsy in March of 2010 with the goal of providing unique designs at affordable prices that every bride could fit into her budget.
New designs are always in the works, and spots are booking far in advance for the upcoming wedding seasons! Be sure to book in advance from January - July every year, spots fill up quickly!
I hand make every individual invitation including designing, printing, cutting, and assembly. I make my own pocket folders from whole sheet scrapbook cardstocks and use recycled papers when I am able.
By allowing total customization, it lets every bride tailor her invitations to what she is looking for and to fit into the budget best for her wedding. I wanted to allow brides to be able to get special custom invitations without having to pay an outragous price, and without having to resort to cheaper mass produced invitations. By having choices of basic invitation sets, then having all of the extras and frills available to add on, it lets my designs fit into any one’s budget.
