A Look Inside the Bucket
Here at Rustic Bucket Refurbs, we are a genuine mom and pop shop. We work out of our homes in our basements and garages to create our pieces. We refurbish old furniture with great bones into something new and fresh. Giving new life to old pieces before they kick the bucket! When you think about our company, we want people to think homey, cozy, chic, rustic, genuine, original and quality. Something you can really look forward to seeing in your own space in your home, and can't wait to show off to family and friends!
It began back when I took in an old living room set – a coffee table and two end tables – of my great Aunt's after she passed away. They were very dated, but they were in great condition and the quality of the all wood pieces was just too good to pass up! My boyfriend, Azim, sanded them down, I painted them and added new knobs. Voila! We had unknowingly created something so beautiful for our homes and we couldn't stop there. We started discussing it and we realized this is something we truly enjoyed to not only work on, but to work on together! From there we started shopping, designing and crafting.
As I come up with the designs, Azim is hard at work getting each piece ready for me to beautify. We work together seamlessly in our own traits, as well as lending a helping hand to one another when needed. That's right, each of our pieces are done by hand! We put so much of our hearts in each piece and we care for them all deeply. We hope they can all find great homes to live out their new lives in!
