Hi, I'm Richard — the craftsman behind Rustic Buckeye Woodworks.
What started as a passion for woodworking has become an opportunity to create pieces that encourage faith, spark conversations about Christ, and bring biblical truth into everyday life.
Every piece in my shop is handcrafted in Ohio with a focus on faith, family, patriotism, and American craftsmanship. Whether it's a scripture-inspired sign, a handcrafted cross, a memorial piece, or a wooden American flag, my goal is to create products that carry meaning beyond the wood they're made from.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, many of my designs are inspired by Scripture and the lessons God teaches us through His Word. My hope is that the pieces I create serve as daily reminders of God's faithfulness, encouragement during difficult seasons, and opportunities to share the Gospel with others.
Each project begins with real wood and goes through a careful process of cutting, sanding, engraving, burning, and finishing by hand. Because every piece is individually crafted, no two are exactly alike. The natural grain patterns, knots, and character of the wood make every item uniquely its own.
