We are all about embracing natural things!!
The main focus of the shop will be wood items. I incorporate paints, stains, hand carving, rotary hand tools and pyrography (wood burning) techniques to create a variety of items. Most items will be pre-made by me, but I will also take custom requests when my time allows it.
Any custom orders will require more time to create, so they will not be available for “rush.” I will keep in contact during the process and provide updates on your piece. If I am not confident that I can create a piece to your specifications, I will honest and let you know.
My wood creations are HAND DONE by me. There are no lasers or CNC machines used here and for that reason prices of items will generally exceed those of machine made products found online. Each item is UNIQUE, and even if they are of same design, there will always be slight variations. I believe the art of working with wood should be appreciated by hand, not by use of a machine you walk away from and come back hours later.
I will be adding other items, such as dried herbs, vegetables, fruits and flowers as the season allows. These items will be grown in my own yard. I grow things organically, including using my own compost. These items can be used for cooking, teas and bath teas. Examples of such items may include: dried peppers/chilis, rose petals, thyme, rosemary, chamomile, etc.
Other items may be included periodically depending on what artistic bug captures me at any given moment, like paintings, needlework, etc.
