Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

To request a custom item, please contact me with your name, a good way to contact you and provide a description of what you're looking for (including size, color/stain, design/writing, etc.).

I will contact you back to let you know:

1. If I'm capable of creating the item
2. Estimated time needed to make item
3. Approximate cost of item

I can then work to provide you a rough sketch of the project and will correspond with you to get it just how you want.

I cannot "rush" make custom items and I hold a full-time job, so working on your project will depend on my schedule availability.

What stains & finishes do you have available?

***Items available for custom finishes will have a photograph of current finishes available***

Provide me the corresponding number for the finish you would like.

1: Ebony (Stain)
2: Cocoa Bean (Antiquing Medium)
3: Classic Grey (Stain)
4: Expresso (Antiquing Medium)
5: Medium (Antiquing Medium)
6: Maple (Gel)
7: Walnut (Gel)
8: Ipswich Pine (Stain)
9: Oak (Gel)
10: Medium Walnut (Oil)
11: Pickled Oak (Stain)
12: Antique White (Stain)
13: Silver Spark (Metallic Lustre)

***Please keep in mind****how a stain looks will vary slightly from one type of wood to another

I also have various paints. If I do not have the type/color you are requesting, I can get it but I will request additional days to prepare the item.

What do you use on your plants?

Everything in my garden is grown using organic compost (occasionally mushroom compost), from a local landscape company combined with the compost I make myself.

Plants are fed using organic feed made mostly from poultry manure.

I try to avoid as much as possible using sprays, but if I do, they are all safe for organic gardening, such as Copper Fungicide, BT and Neem.

Harvested items are rinsed before drying.

All dried items are either hung for drying or dried in a dehydrator.

What type of roses are your petals from?

I have a variety of roses. Most packs of dried petals contain a mixture of the below varieties.
If you have a preference for a pack from one specific variety, please contact me.

Quicksilver
Black Bacara
Black Magic
Stiletto
Moonstone
Hot Cocoa
Miranda Lambert
Celestial Night
Ebb Tide
