After being a designer in New York, she moved to Florida where she and her husband started the Rustic Pelican in order to create unique and custom designs for their clients ♥
Marilyn grew up in upstate New York, and earned her degree in Interior and Architectural Design, where she worked on 34th. and Madison Avenue.
She designed many prestigious developments and Luxury High Rises such as Trump Towers, 200 Lexington, Sutton Place, 100 United Nation's Plaza High Rise, Beaux Arts, East Gramercy Park 1, Turtle Bay, The Corinthian, 521 Madison Ave, Upper East Side, Midtown High Rise, Tudor City, River Tower, The Ritz Plaza, 20 Park Ave, Stonehenge Tower, The Renwick West SoHo, to name a few.
Marilyn, also designed many celebrity homes, and famous sports figures. She has also designed the homes of famous Fashion Designers.
She brings a fresh energy to traditional luxury. Her inspired blending of color, forms and texture, produce consistently sophisticated and elegant interiors, as well as function and a unique style.
Marilyn has a comprehensive knowledge of the design process gained through 20 years of experience. Her eye for space planning, color, and elegance, have made her a successful Designer.

When Marilyn left New York city, she wanted to start a business designing unique home decor products and convinced her husband to help.
