Handcrafted Rustic Décor with Heart and Heritage
Rustic & Renewed Decor began as a passion project while I was restoring my 125-year-old home in Ontario, Canada. Working with wood quickly became more than a necessity—it became a creative outlet and a way to give old materials new life.
What started as a hobby during evenings and weekends has grown into a small Ontario business creating functional, farmhouse-inspired home décor, entertaining pieces, gifts, and small furniture.
Every piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in my workshop using a combination of reclaimed wood and new wood sourced primarily from Ontario mills and suppliers. Reclaimed wood comes with its own history, including nail holes, knots, saw marks, and natural grain variations. Whenever possible, I preserve these details because they give each piece its individual character.
Every item in my Etsy shop is made to order and handcrafted specifically for you. Depending on the product, you can choose from available wood species, sizes, stains, paint colours, finishes, and other design details. I also create fully custom pieces for customers who need something designed specifically for their home, cottage, or gift-giving occasion. You can request a custom order on Etsy as well or drop me a note on your idea.
Because every piece is made to order from real wood, natural variations in grain, colour, knots, and markings make each item unique.
Sustainability and meaningful craftsmanship are important parts of my business. Three percent of every sale is donated to Tree Canada to support tree planting and forest restoration. It is my way of giving something back to the forests and natural materials that make my work possible.
Rustic & Renewed Decor began selling in 2023, initially focusing on local craft shows throughout Southwestern Ontario. After two years of developing and refining my product collection, I launched my Etsy shop in September 2025.
Thank you for visiting my shop and supporting a small Canadian business. Every order allows me to continue doing what I love: transforming wood into useful, lasting pieces that feel like home.
