¡Bienvenidos a Rustic Restyle! Soy Laura, la creadora, diseñadora y creadora de cada pieza que ven aquí. Lo que empezó hace años como un simple deseo de crear decoración artesanal y con significado se ha convertido en un negocio familiar basado en la artesanía, la creatividad y el corazón.
Mi aventura comenzó en un pequeño estudio en una habitación de invitados en Texas, donde pasé incontables horas pintando, diseñando y experimentando. A medida que mis amigos y familiares empezaron a pedirme sus propias piezas, mi esposo también se sumó, descubriendo su pasión por crear letreros personalizados con palés reciclados y madera desechada. Incluso nuestra hija se unió a la diversión, convirtiéndolo en una verdadera aventura familiar.
Cuando la vida nos trajo a Avoca, Iowa, en 2015, empacamos nuestras herramientas, nuestros suministros y nuestros sueños, y Rustic Restyle llegó con nosotros. Hoy, cada artículo en nuestro taller se sigue fabricando de la misma manera: cuidadosamente diseñado, hecho a mano, pintado a mano y creado con cuidado. Nos encanta dar nueva vida a materiales que de otro modo se desperdiciarían, y nos enorgullece crear decoración que se siente personal, cálida y duradera.
Además de Rustic Restyle, también gestionamos IowaCreativeSupply, donde creamos materiales para manualidades cortados con láser, hechos de madera, acrílico y más. Está diseñado especialmente para creadores, aficionados al bricolaje y pequeñas empresas que buscan piezas y componentes de alta calidad. IowaCreativeSupply se unirá pronto a Etsy, y nos entusiasma compartir esa faceta de nuestro mundo creativo contigo.

Welcome to Rustic Restyle! I’m Laura — the maker, designer, and creative behind every piece you see here. What began years ago as a simple desire to create meaningful, handmade décor has grown into a family-powered business rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and heart.
My journey started in a tiny spare-room studio back in Texas, where I spent countless hours painting, designing, and experimenting. As friends and family began requesting pieces of their own, my husband jumped in too, discovering his love for building custom signs from reclaimed pallets and discarded wood. Even our daughter joined the fun, turning it into a true family adventure.
When life brought us to Avoca, Iowa in 2015, we packed up our tools, our supplies, and our dreams — and Rustic Restyle came with us. Today, every item in our shop is still made the same way: thoughtfully designed, hand-built, hand-painted, and created with care. We love giving new life to materials that would otherwise be wasted, and we take pride in crafting décor that feels personal, warm, and lasting.
Alongside Rustic Restyle, we also run IowaCreativeSupply, where we create laser‑cut craft supplies made from wood, acrylic, and more. It’s designed especially for fellow makers, DIYers, and small businesses who want high‑quality blanks and components. IowaCreativeSupply will be joining Etsy soon, and we’re excited to share that side of our creative world with you as well.
