4 out of 5 starsGood looking lock. On arrival, the bolt would not work properly. The internal spring was misshapen which made it so short it slipped off the part it should push against. I was able to flatten it enough with pliers to work okay. But I fear that because it was so easy to permanently bend, it may not be a very good spring. Otherwise, nicely finished.

5 out of 5 starsThis box is beautiful. Very well-made and will work perfectly for individually packaged teabags. I’m not so sure if it will work with teabags that do not have a wrapping around each one. As I said, the box is beautifully made, however the lid is very very tight. It takes a lot of effort to open it using both hands so that is a little disappointing. I’m hoping that it will get easier over time with use. Or I may have to sand the inside edge just a bit.
