Texture and Color
Hi all,
Welcome to Rusty Glass Designs, the shop I opened in late 2018 while taking a break from work to take some time for myself after surviving breast cancer and its associated treatments. I'd been working in Photoshop for years to turn my photographs into altered, mostly impressionistic art, and had recently discovered how much I loved junk journals.
I've collected antique books and ephemera for most of my life, and digital junk journals gives me the opportunity to incorporate those images, other public domain images, and my own photographs into an interesting new form of art. I love to work with various textures and colors and have a somewhat eclectic style. What I create may change each day depending on what inspires me, but gardening and botanical themes will always be a focus as they are also passions of mine.
I have lots of images and ideas and will continue to add to my shop as time allows.
