A full-time painter residing in Broomfield, Colorado, Ruth is inspired by the grandeur of the nearby Rocky Mountains. She paints the western landscape in a magical style in which she perceives intensified hues, symbolic motifs and dramatic contrasts in her compositions. Lower Falls of the Yellowstone was selected for The Russell: Sale to Benefit C. M. Russell Museum.
