My Story
I’m Jessica—a wife, mom of 3, and Tennessee-based graphic designer. I love creating cute printables for church, home, family, seasonal celebrations—and whatever inspires me in the moment. I believe a cute printable can turn any ordinary moment into something more personal, thoughtful, and special!
Rutledge Design Co. began in 2016 after the birth of my second child, when I returned to school at BYU–Idaho to earn a degree in Web Design and Development. During that time, I discovered my love for graphic design through incredible professors and mentors who taught me everything from typography to the foundational principles of design.
I graduated with my bachelor's degree shortly after the birth of my third child. At first, graphic design was just a hobby—creating cute printables for family and friends. But when businesses began reaching out for freelance design work, I realized it was time to turn that hobby into a business.
In 2021, I opened my Etsy shop, and things quickly took off. I’m incredibly grateful for this creative outlet and the opportunity to do work I love while maintaining the flexibility to keep my family as my top priority.
