"My shop started on a busy musty street on a summer day in Portland circa 2010. I was completely distraught in college, as I was attending blindly and denying my creative desires, so I took it all out on canvas for two years. So I had a collection of paintings that were in need of new homes, as they were overflowing in mine. I set them out on the sidewalk at an art festival, not expecting anything in particular. I sold all of my paintings, along with a few sketches, and went home feeling as if I had touched people. Since then I have expanded, in the hopes that what I make will have an affect on people. Whether it be the last piece of wall art in a couple's new home, a reminder in a student's dorm to not deny their creative impulses, or using proceeds to benefit charities - all of it matters to me.
I love only having to answer to myself and my customers. I love caring about what I do and being able to combine life and work. And I love the appreciation I receive from my customers, whether it be intentional or unintentional support.
So thank you in advance, and I hope to please all of you, as I make your needs my utmost priority."
