Frequently asked questions
🐰 What do your patterns look like? How are they written?
My patterns are written in English using US crochet terms. Each pattern includes:
- List of materials.
- List of abbreviations.
- Photo tutorials for all techniques used, except the most basic crochet stitches.
- Pattern written with abbreviations.
- Step-by-step photo tutorials illustrating the whole process.
My patterns are laid out so the actual pattern is on just a few pages, with illustrating photos following.
🐻 What do your difficulty ratings mean?
1. Novice - Great project for taking your first steps in the world of amigurumi - basic stitches, repetitive pattern, simple shapes and easy assembly.
2. Beginner - These projects require a bit more experience and/or patience - may include more complicated stitch patterns, color changes or small details.
3. Intermediate - These projects combine a few of the more complicated techniques - may include lace patterns, color changes, small details, simple shaping and/or more complicated assembly.
4. Advanced - Complicated projects that require expertise, patience and precision - may include a variety of patterns and stitches (including knitting, sewing, and embroidery), small details, complicated shapes, techniques and/or assembly.
🦊 When will I receive my patterns?
Patterns will be available to download immediately after the payment is confirmed. Payments are usually processed within a couple of minutes, which means you can download the files right after clicking "Confirm order".
🐹 I accidentally deleted the pattern file(s). Can you replace them?
Absolutely! Contact me through Etsy Messages or email me at kristi@spire.ee and I will send you the download link.
All your digital purchases are also stored on Etsy and you can download them again at any time under Your Account - Purchases & Reviews.
🐨 May I sell finished items made with your patterns (including free patterns)?
You are welcome to sell finished items made with any of my patterns, both online and in person. If you plan to recruit others to make the toys, please contact me first.
🐼 How do I download my patterns?
Once your payment is confirmed, you can download your files on the order status page or by clicking the link in the order receipt email.
Digital items you’ve purchased can also be viewed and downloaded at any time from the Purchases and Reviews section of your Etsy account.
To access your digital files from your account:
1. Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your account.
2. Go to Purchases and Reviews.
2. Next to the order, select Download Files. This goes to the Downloads page for all the files attached to your order.
NB! You can't download a digital purchase through the Etsy app at this time. To download a digital file, please sign in to Etsy on your mobile browser or computer.
