I opened my shop in March 2011 with my Dinosaur Editable party pack that I designed for my friend's little boys birthday party. My shop has grown since then to include gift templates as well as party ones.
I love the process of coming up with new ideas and translating them into different designs unique to each theme.
I am definitely a procrastinator (you will find me up very late the night before parties frantically getting things organised) and now that my editable printables are available as Instant Downloads on Etsy, I hope to be able to save the sanity of others like me too!
Each editable template in my shop is ready for you to easily personalize at home using Adobe Reader. Simply download, edit and print!

WHAT SOFTWARE DO I NEED?
My editable files will ONLY work in the FREE Adobe Reader.
The latest version is called "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" and you can download it here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/
WILL THEY WORK ON MY MAC?
YES! However the templates need to be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader only - not the default Mac PDF viewer called Preview.

HOW DO I PERSONALIZE THE FILES?
Simply open them in Adobe Acrobat Reader, select/highlight my sample text and start typing over it with your own wording - it's that easy! Fonts are already embedded in the files.
Click on File > Save As to save your changes.

WILL THEY WORK ON A PHONE, TABLET OR OTHER MOBILE DEVICE?
No. My files won't work on your mobile device or in an App.
Download to your laptop or computer & open them in the full Adobe Acrobat Reader only.
CAN I CHANGE COLORS, SIZES, GRAPHICS, BACKGROUNDS ETC?
No. Adobe Acrobat Reader won't allow you to change any colors, graphics, backgrounds, patterns, fonts, sizes etc.
All of my files are secured and you will not be able to open them in any graphic design program to alter them in any way.
Files can ONLY be printed at their original specified size and not at a larger size.
CAN I EMAIL MY TEMPLATE
No. You cannot email out the editable PDF file.
However I do offer to convert your template to an emailable JPG file for free here: https://www.simonemadeit.com/convert-to-jpg/
CAN I PRINT AT A PHOTO LAB?
No. These are not JPGs and therefore you cannot print the editable PDF files at a photo lab as a photo or at an online photo printing shop such as Visatprint, Snapfish, MPix etc.

CAN I PRINT AT A COPY SHOP?
YES! You can print your files at a copy shop such as Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, Kinkos or even Officeworks in Australia.
All Full Template Packages include a ZIP File of Individual Pages so you can personalize and send out for printing just the pages you need.
WHAT PAPER DO YOU RECOMMEND PRINTING ON?
My templates are formatted to print on US Letter Size paper, (however they also print perfectly on A4 paper if you are in Australia, the UK or Asia).
If you are printing at home I recommend a heavyweight Matte Photo Paper (for best results) or bright white Cardstock - the thickest your printer can handle.
If printing at a copy shop choose their Cardstock. 110lb weight (300gsm) Cardstock works well for most designs.
CAN I PRINT YOUR FILES ON AVERY LABEL/STICKER PAPER
No. My files aren’t formatted to print on any kind of pre-cut or pre-formatted label paper.
If you wish to print as stickers on label paper, print on FULL-SHEET sticker/label paper & trim out the designs after printing.
