I'm Sarah, an Air Force veteran, engineer, and maker based in Upstate New York. My path has taken me from leading engineering teams around the world to building things by hand in my own workshop. Today, I combine that experience and passion to create meaningful, lasting pieces that celebrate life's greatest adventures and milestones.
My love for creating started early - building, problem solving, and figuring out how things work have always been part of who I am. My engineering background taught me precision, planning, and attention to detail. My time in the Air Force taught me leadership, discipline, and the value of service. And my years spent exploring mountains and the outdoors gave me a deep appreciation for the places that challenge us, inspire us, and change us.
That's where the idea for Milestone Terrain Models was born.
These custom terrain models transform a meaningful hike, summit, race, deployment, or journey into a physical reminder of an accomplishment worth remembering. Each model is designed from real-world elevation data, carefully crafted, and personalized with the details that make your milestone uniquely yours.
In addition to terrain models, I create custom woodworking projects and personalized gifts - each one made with the same care, quality, and pride I would put into something for my own family and friends.
