Walks with my camera
Hi - i'm Sue Langford :-)
As well as my part-time job I have two hobbies: walking and photography, and they go together really well. I love my job but it's desk-based, so getting out and about in the UK countryside is always something I enjoy - whatever the weather! I love a sunny day, but plenty of my favourite photos were taken on wet or misty scenes.
Most of my walking happens on weekends away with a fabulous organisation called Large Outdoors, but I often go out on my own too and always carry my camera (I use a Pentax K50.)
I love the feeling I get when I realise I've got another image that would make a great card or wall art. It's then a real buzz finding out that my photography means something to others too - that they want to send my image as a card, or frame it to display at home, or gift it to someone for a special occasion or memento of somewhere they've been.
