My mother bought me my first sewing machine when I was 14. I was hooked! I started out making clothing from paper patterns and store-bought materials. To have a better understanding of how clothing was made, I took thrift store finds apart to study their construction.
I found my niche, my love, in recreating these thrifted pieces. I began reassembling them into unique and flattering new designs.
After giving myself a whole new wardrobe, I began fixing my friends’ closets. I also did alterations for 6 months before I got tired of replacing zippers & hemming pant cuffs. :)
I like to make clothing more comfortable, unique, & classy. All my designs are made with care and attention to detail.
