I've been obsessed with camouflage since childhood, playing hide-n-seek and "army" into adolescence. As a teen, my interests shifted into hunting and ghillie suits. I served in the US Navy in a non-combat role for six years and when my enlistment finished, I reacquired my interest in hunting and other outdoor activities. In college, I began writing on the subject of ghillie suits and camouflage and self-published my first book about making ghillie suits entitled, Hidden Success. My second book, Appear To Vanish, was published three years later by the now defunct Paladin Press. I've gone on to write and self-publish several other books and decided to apply my knowledge and research into camouflage designs. While military/tactical and hunting patterns are my favorite, I also recognized the popularity of camouflage as a fashion design. The world of digital and sublimation printing has made my patterns possible because of pattern complexity with gradients, color variations, and blending techniques that weren't available years ago.
