Sable et Mer
Welcome to our little shop "Sable et Mer" (Sand and Sea)!
We are a French Canadian sisters team. Art, minimalism, sustainability and travels are in the centre of our lives. As well living abroad in Japan, Italy and Ireland were great source of inspiration. We try to incorporated that simplicity into the design of useful everyday life items. We hope you like it.
Happy shopping...
NO WASTE PHILOSOPHY • GOOD DEED
∞ Mats-blankets for dogs at Animal Shelters:
Throughout the year, we always end up with a lot of left over pieces of fabric. With them and with a no-waste philosophy, we make patchwork mat-blankets and donate them to Humane Society or different animal shelters. We started in 2010 and happily keep alive this tradition close to our heart.
∞ Covid Masks:
As well during the Covid 'era', we used small fabrics to make masks and donate in primary schools in the Caribbean Islands.
