Welcome to my shop, which is named after my dear daughter Sabrina. I stared selling on Etsy in 2012 and it has been a great experience. After working for 31 years, I am now a stay at home grandmother who enjoys sewing, making flower arrangements and reading. I started making jewelry as a way to stay sane after the death of Sabrina and becoming a mother to her daughter. Actually, my granddaughter is the one who got me into jewelry making. A friend gave her a bead making kit and one day she brought it to me and said, “Grandma, let start a jewelry making business so we can make us some money.” At first I was skeptical, but I love working with my hands and decided to give it a try.
I found that It was a great way to relieve the stress of loosing my daughter to ALS and starting over raising a child. We would make necklaces with matching earrings to give to our friends and they loved them. I started spending hours in the craft department looking at all the beautiful beads and imagining the necklace, earrings or bracelet I could make with them. I would sit for hours designing a pattern and crying while putting it together. I also found that it is a great way to get the right piece of jewelry to fit your wardrobe. Before long I had over a hundred pieces of jewelry hanging on a jewelry rack. An acquaintance told me I should put my jewelry on Etsy, so here I am sharing it with you. This is indeed a new adventure for me and I am still in process of improving my photos, so bear with me.
