Thank you to everyone who has followed my little shop. I started making Fully Swimmable Mer-Crowns four years ago and nothing has brought me more joy than seeing customers showing off in their crowns!

Unfortunately, the last year has held many challenges for me and I have had to put Sabrina Fair aside while dealing with everything. I am pleased to say that things are much brighter and calmer at Mermaid Towers and I am starting to dip my fins back into making again.

However, in order for me to continue with making beautiful, swimmable MerCrowns for the MerCommunity, I have had to make changes to the way I take orders and make adjustments to pricing. Both will now realistically reflect the time it takes to create and properly cover the drastic increase in supply costs.

Custom Order Pricing will now depend on these factors:

1) size/style of crown (see below options)
2) levels of customisation (extras such as beading, specific types of shells, specific types of design, specialist paints and/or effects, etc.)
3) how quickly a piece is needed (a 'rush' fee will apply if needed outside the normal 8-12 week completion period)

Occasionally I will post Ready to Ship items on this Etsy page, but from now all custom orders will go through the Instagram page (@SabrinaFairDesigns).

There are Three Crown Styles available:

1) Basic circlet crown with shells only (e.g., 'The Diana') - starting at £250.

2) Flower and Shell crowns (e.g., 'The Nimue') - starting at £300.

3) Elaborate 'Baroque' crowns (e.g., 'The Twilight Labyrinth', 'Persephone's Light) - starting at £375.

All prices are in British Sterling (GBP) and do not include shipping (Please check fee equivalents in your own currencies before making an order. You can find this out easily on Google using a currency converter).

Currently, Custom Crowns will take between 8 - 12 weeks to complete. If you need a Custom piece sooner than the usual time frame window, let me know and I will work with you to get it to you within your timeframe (a 'rush' fee will apply).

When we embark on a Custom Order together, we will have an initial consultation via email where you tell me which Crown type you would like to start with and how you would like it to look. Feel free to send me a Mood board (or like Pinterest) and photos of things that inspire you, including a high-quality photo of your tail.

I will then go away and draw up a quote for the crown, based on your wishes and the work needed to achieve your dream crown. The quote and the Commission Agreement will be sent to you for approval/any edits. Once that is agreed and the Commission Agreement signed and returned, I will send you an Invoice with my payment details.

Payment in full should be made within 7 days of the Invoice/Commission Agreement. If payment is not received, I will assume you do not wish to go ahead and will offer your Custom Slot to the next in line.
