Desde su creación en 2008, Sacred Resource se ha esforzado por crear carpintería y gabinetes altamente funcionales. Todas mis piezas están diseñadas para elevar los objetos ordinarios y cotidianos al arte. Me complace enormemente convertir un cuenco que no solo se usará todos los días, sino que también se convertirá en una pieza de conversación con su propia historia que contar.
Mi trabajo es a menudo una práctica contemplativa. La carpintería contemplativa es crear sin pensar. A menudo, las características únicas de una sola pieza de madera determinarán el diseño final. Otras veces, puede tomar semanas para que un diseño se "cree a sí mismo".

Since its inception in 2008, Sacred Resource has striven to create highly functional woodcraft and cabinetry. All of my pieces are designed to elevate ordinary, everyday objects to art. I take immense pleasure in turning a bowl that will not only be used every day, but also become a conversation piece with its own story to tell.
My work is often a contemplative practice. Contemplative woodworking is creating without thought. Often the unique charateristics of a single piece of wood will determine the final design. Other times, it may take weeks for a design to "create itself".
I have always been ecologically minded. This is reflected in many of the products I produce, the materials I use and the practices I maintain. Because of its tragic abundance and its unique historical record, I work almost exclusively in lodgepole and ponderosa pine killed by the mountain pine beetle. This naturally "blue stained" wood is not only beautiful, but has a great story to tell. Its an honor to create things of beauty and usefulness with a material that most consider firewood at best.
