Living in the country, so close to nature with its vegetation and animals, are the main source of my inspiration.
The music I listen to, the different people I meet, the poetry I read, the Kabala I study and the Bible, the Book of all Books, are a big part of my creation as well.
For quite a long time I lived across the street from a synagogue; seeing people wearing white, praying, singing, rejoicing and celebrating their faith, deeply affected me.
It brought me closer to the Bible and caused me to quote sentences/paragraphs from it in my art work. This became a big part of my artistic expression.
I start my day by lightening a candle, brewing my own coffee and sitting down to work in my own studio in my home. It is a specious room with big windows, open to the back yard with its trees and flowers. The room is a source of tranquility and inspiration.
I listen to music from all over the world. Music is an essential part of my life and plays a major role in my creative inspirations.
Being efficient and diligent I can easily combine my work with my every day tasks . Among my daily obligations I find the time to serve my kids lunch, to walk my dog and take care of the household.
