Care Instructions - Silverware

Hand washing is recommended to maintain a beautiful, warm silver finish on your item. All items are thoroughly hand polished and hand washed and dried prior to wrapping and shipping. Food safe. Silver plate remains shinier longer if handled and used. You may want to occasionally give them a quick wipe with a silver polishing cloth or cream to bring back a high shine. Do not leave in acidic dishes (tomatoes, lemons, eggs) for an extended period of time as this can cause corrosion and pitting. I do recommend hand washing, as silver plate can tarnish faster over time if put in the intense heat of the dishwasher.
