Hi everybody!
Welcome to Sampson’s Throwback Threads, LLC. This business has been a long time coming and I am SO PUMPED to finally be ready to share everything with y’all!
A little background: I have my bachelors degree in printmaking and graphic design. I’ve been in and out of the screen printing and graphic design field for 10+ years. I have a true passion for creating designs and seeing those designs come to life on clothing. I’m just a small town Cajun with big goals and dreams.
I’ve always come up with business ideas in my head (an entrepreneur’s brain), but never acted on them. I decided I was tired of the same old “stuck” feeling and acted on this idea. I’m sure a lot of you know that feeling that I’m talking about. They say if you never go for something, you’ll never get it. I’m finally going for it!
Now onto the name I chose, which is SO special to myself and my family. As this business was in the early stages of development, our eldest dog fell sick. He went downhill very quickly and passed away at the end of summer. My wife and I adopted Sampson when he was 3 weeks old from a pound a few cities over. We were blessed to spend 13 amazing years with him. Sampson was our child before we had our son. He then became our son’s very best friend from day 1. Thankfully, he was able to spend 5.5 years with Sampson. Sampson taught us unconditional love, patience, sacrifices, and unimaginable joy. He taught us more than you’d ever think a dog could teach you. We will forever miss our old man puppy, but decided to let his legacy live on in Sampson’s Throwback Threads.
