"In crafting there are no mistakes, just unique creations!"
I love paper crafting and creating projects like the ones you will see here in my Etsy shop. I truly enjoy the process of designing and sharing with others how to create my projects on their own. While I create, I record videos and then edit and upload them as FREE tutorials to my YouTube channel. I then share those videos with my followers and the followers of the manufacturers or stores that generously provided some of my supplies.
I've been crafting and sewing all my life. My mother enrolled me in sewing classes when I was 9 years old which enabled me to be able to create Barbie doll wardrobes for myself and later on for my nieces. My finest sewing success was creating unique Halloween costumes for my daughter...Rainbow Bright, a California Raisin and a Medieval princess to name a few. My love of crafts for scrapbooking and unique gifts came from my sweet Grandmother. I spent many summers at her house crafting away by melting crayons on to glass bottles or gluing pretty beads and buttons to a cigar box. Those memories I'll treasure forever, so thank you Grandma Green.
I love every project that I create and would really like to keep them all for myself, but there's just not enough room! So, my loss can be your gain...a custom, one of a kind, COMPLETED, handcrafted mini album, greeting card or gift item for yourself or someone special in your life. I will note in the listing of each item if it is new, slightly used, a prototype or the original design for a tutorial video. When possible I will also provide the link to a showcase/walk through video of each listed project.
So, how did I get into paper crafting and specifically designing and creating albums from chipboard and cardstock? I had been doing the traditional l2x12 scrapbooking for years and have many, many albums to show for it but I wanted something different. I had photos from a fun Route 66 road trip my husband and I went on and I wanted a unique album. I started watching YouTube videos and came upon an album created by Anne of Norway. I loved that album and wanted to make it for those Route 66 photos. I jumped right in, watched Anne's video tutorials and started creating. There were times when I could not quite understand her English and was totally lost and made a lot of mistakes. But I persevered and made it my own way--right or wrong! It turned out wonderful and I was hooked. So here I am today, designing for Country Craft Creations, an online craft supply shop, and sharing my projects with free video tutorials on my YouTube channel. I've been designing for Country Craft Creations since May of 2018 and two years prior to that, I designed and was a Brand Ambassador for Graphic 45.
I love to design and create and I love every album or project I've done but sometimes I run out of room on my shelves. When that happens, I will list some of them for sell here in my Etsy shop. I won't always have new listings however, if you have seen something I've created in one of my videos that you might be interested in purchasing, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you so much for taking a look at my shop and I invite you to check out my YouTube channel....
