In 2015, we began searching for products that would not only enrich our lives, but would also reduce the footprint left behind in our wake. With all of the chemical additives in commercial products today, the need for cleaner and greener products has become apparent. So many of our friends and family members have had reactions of all sorts to commercial products, and our desire to help lead us to found Sapo de Solis. Latin for "Soap of the Sun", our goal is to create all-natural, hand-crafted products that are not only safe, but effective as well.
What began as a hobby quickly became a passion for us, Chuck and Thomas. In an effort to remove harmful chemicals from the products we were using, we began searching for homemade, natural alternatives. We were immediately surprised by how effective the homemade natural alternatives were. We were hooked, and instantly began searching for alternative means of creating everything from natural bleach to shampoo to dog treats. We have spent countless days, nights, weekends, and significant financial expense experimenting with different recipes and adjusting them based on feedback from friends, family, and our own personal uses.
Having consumed many of these products for over a year now, we began thinking about sharing these special products with you. It is our hope that you enjoy each one as much as we have enjoyed creating them. We hope you find just what your looking for!
