Beautiful Crochet Lace Accessories for Steampunk, Victorian, Fae, Goth, Costume and Everyday Wear

I have been crocheting and knitting since I first learned when I was around 7 years old, so you might say it has nearly always been a part of my life on some level.

I realized I loved crochet above all crafts, and was especially inspired to work with fine threads and lace designs. Out of that passion I began to design and make my wrist cuffs, collars, chokers, and other accessories and found that they appealed to many in the Goth, Steampunk, Victorian, Fae, Costuming communities and everyone else too!

I also dabble a little bit with jewelry, creating crocheted floral brooches, pins, necklaces and such.. There are Floral hair bits and bobs for anyone to enjoy, and even on occasion I might do a bit of pen and ink drawings--you will see my cards in the shop now and again!

And so the idea for an Etsy shop was born---I created some pieces, opened my shop here in April of 2011, and have been offering pretty pieces worldwide ever since. I also sell my items in a beautiful artist's collective shop called "The Mad Hatter" in Historic Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula.

I also vend at various shows in the Pacific NW, including those run by Urban Unglued, Mourning Market and Macabre Market (all dark arts themed); these wonderfully eclectic and exciting organizations have shows throughout the year. I have shown in the Art Show at Norwescon, an amazing Sci-Fi/Fantasy convention held here. Occasionally I also vend at other shows---follow my Facebook page to see where I will be next. Please come by and say hello if you attend any of these events!

I am always open to custom work, be it something in a different color, size or yarn to something new we create together....feel free to contact me and we can create something beautiful for you.

Why Scarletrabbit? I love the color red, and I collect rabbit things....so it just made sense!

Please do come into my shop and visit with me, and while you are here take a look about---you might find something lovely for a gift or for yourself....so welcome, welcome to Scarletrabbit!

Thank you for visiting my shop! Enjoy the visit, stay awhile, and if something strikes your fancy I will be honored if you purchase it and give it a new lovely home. My things are made to be worn, treasured, gifted and displayed.

All items are made in a smoke free but not pet free home (I do have cats!)

Each item is made by hand, so very small differences may occur if you purchase multiples of the same item. Also, some of my buttons and threads are vintage and thrift store finds so may be one of a kind. I take great care to give you a quality product.

If the item you want has been sold, contact me about making one for you, or watch the shop as I restock regularly. If you have a specific color you would like, I have many other colors available, and can send you a swatch at no cost.

If you would like a larger size email me, there is no additional charge for larger sizes or custom orders.

All of my original designs, are handmade, designed and copyright to me, Scarletrabbit.
