Announcement    It’s 3:30 pm on THURSDAY 12/28. Candle Orders placed before 3:00 pm Central time were packed for shipment out of the Woodstock post office, UPS Store and FEDEX as soon as they open.

All open orders placed after 3:00 pm Chicago time today will be at the carriers first thing FRIDAY 12/29. I will not be in the studio at all the rest of the day. The New Years EVE CUTOFF HAS PASSED.

Order Processing And Shipping: During the holiday season, I try to get orders delivered to the Post Office, UPS and FedEx within 24 business hours of receipt. Please note when calculating time in transit that the USPS takes a MINIMUM of 5 business days for First Class, and up to 3-5 for Priority. No carrier guarantees transit times, calling them “estimates” instead. I wish I could get those packages through the USPS trucks faster. All I can do is get them to the carriers in town at lightening speed, the rest is up to them. 😊

If you are ever unsure of what an item is in a listing please contact me BEFORE ordering. I would rather miss a sale than have an unhappy customer.

Holiday Transit Times: from Thanksgiving through New Years Usps shipments often take 3-4 times the normal length of time with the mountain of shipped packages at every office location. Please keep that in mind when ordering from any online shop. We desperately want you to receive your items quickly, and get super stressed out over the shipping delays right along with you.


When considering an order, but not quite sure:
If you have questions or concerns, please convo right away so we can work together to figure things out. It’s hard to imagine how something will be when we can’t see/touch it in person. I try my best to describe and photograph items so there are no surprises. With your help I get to learn to describe and photograph even better. My goal is a joyful experience shopping at Scenter Square.


If you need a different carrier: FedEx or UPS are options. Neither promises days in transit either, but we can sure try! Let me know before you order to ensure a smooth transaction to over the shipping differences.

If a parcel is marked Delivered but you cannot find it:
- check with others in the household to make sure it was not picked up for you, and where it was put.
-check around the home in weird places where a delivery person may have tried to make it look inconspicuous to prevent theft.
-check with neighbors to make sure they are not holding it safely for you.
-leave a note with your address and the tracking number in your mailbox for the postal carrier to ask them to help find where they delivered your package. Sometimes they accidentally deliver to the wrong address and will get the package properly delivered to you.
-sometimes usps bulk scans parcels as delivered accidentally. It is super frustrating for all of us when this happens. Packages erroneously bulk scanned usually appear in a couple of days during peak shipping times of the year.

If your package is marked delivered, but you can’t find it anywhere, I will open a missing mail case with usps for you. It typically takes 24-48 hours for a post office representative to contact me about the case. It can then take another 48-72 hours during peak times to track the problem down.

This shop does NOT refund or replace orders confirmed Delivered by USPS.

If you need answers more quickly than a filed claim from my end, you have more influence with your post office than I do from many miles away.
Visit your local post office with your tracking number. Their internal computer system can provide much more detailed information about your parcel, including the gps location for where the package was scanned as delivered. If it was misdelivered, they may be able to pick it up and deliver it properly for you.

If your package was physically delivered according to the gps scan, but was stolen, Etsy recommends we follow USPS guidelines to file a report of stolen mail. Porch pirates turn delivered, but missing mail into a police issue.
