Announcement
Scher Studio specializes in one of a kind Hand Crocheted Wearable Art and Handspun Yarns. If you find something you want crocheted, contact me. I’ve been making hand crocheted custom orders for over 30 years.
In August 2019, after many years of watching others make gorgeous yarns, I finally learned to spin my own yarn. Many of my crocheted items will be made with yarn I make myself. My studio is at my home in North Carolina, where I have plenty of room to spread out my work, block, spin, and construct the items I sell here on Etsy. I sell in several galleries in western North Carolina.
Also, checkout my other Etsy shop, Gotchacoveredbydzs, for game items, and my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ScherStudio/ for all my updated information. Thanks so much.

5 out of 5 starsThis yarn looks gold in the photo, but is actually a golden olive green; luckily, I like the real color even better! Otherwise, everything about the item and transaction was perfectly fine. Nice packaging, quick shipping!

Kimberly - I’m so glad you were happy with the color. Getting accurate photos of the colors in fiber is a challenge. Many fibers will reflect whatever color of light is above it. Incandescent, indoor light has a tendency to make things look more yellow. This one was hard to capture. That Malabrigo fiber spins into beautiful yarn. I’ll have more soon.

5 out of 5 starsI just received my yarn and I am in love!!! It is so soft and the colors are just as beautiful as in the pictures! I was impressed with how quickly I received the yarn as well. The seller took special care in wrapping it and even went the extra mile to include a handwritten note detailing the yarn! I would definitely recommend this yarn and seller’s products to others. You can tell she takes pride in her work and that was exemplified through not only the yarn itself but her customer service! I will definitely be purchasing from her again!

Crochet has been an art for generations in my family. One day when I was 15, I picked up a book of crochet motifs, challenged myself to make every one (there are over 150 patterns in that book) and I was "hooked", so to speak!
