Let's color everything!
The idea for the Scribbler Experiment's crazy coloring fabric creations came several years ago, after I had been creating coloring bookmarks to sell at my local bookstore for quite some time. I've always loved creative DIY projects, and eventually the idea hit me. I wondered what else could be colored?
That's when I gave my first ever fabric pattern a try. Fun fact: you can still find this fabric pattern-hard candy-in my shop today! I spent hours designing that print over the course of a few weeks, and when that was done, I had it printed to see if I had managed to create a cool repeat. Spoiler alert: I actually did it! (Trust me....I was surprised!) I edited the design and quickly began making another.
At my first ever craft show, I debuted my coloring fabric creations with exactly two coloring prints and a hodgepodge of items. Fast forward to three years later, and my coloring repertoire now includes 14 full fabric patterns, plush animals, Christmas ornaments, coasters and a bunch of new coloring bookmarks. I have grown so much, and I have learned so much about fabric design through this journey. Thank you for joining me in my shop, and for your support of my small business dream!
