Finding beauty in the ordinary.
SeaAndStable is a combination of my love for horses and the ocean. My profile picture is my grandmother riding a horse on the beach in 1930. It seems my love of horses and the ocean is inherited. My daughter, now a busy college student, inherited this love as well and contributes her beautiful paintings and nature photography when she has time. I make items from sea shells, driftwood, sea glass, used horseshoes and other repurposed and natural items. I never use shells containing live animals. Whenever possible, I use scraps and leftovers to create something beautiful. We are lucky to live in Rhode Island, the Ocean State, just 2 minutes from a quiet little rocky beach. We have also spent many wonderful vacations in Florida, finding many treasures to share along these beautiful beaches. Sadly, we also find lots of plastic and other trash. We always take away bags of trash along with our treasures. We are contributing a portion of our proceeds to organizations helping vulnerable animals. When not combing the beach and exploring nature, we love spending time at the barn with our rescue horse. Thank you for visiting our shop!
