Why Sea Tree Ski?
Imagine three sisters, spread across the United States, each with their own creative vision and style trying to find commonalities in their work to create an Etsy shop. After a few weeks of trial and error, Jennifer was scrolling through Pinterest and noticed a tattoo design that featured a wave, a mountain, and a tree. She immediately shared it with sisters Michelle and Sarah and they realized that while their interests and passions all overlapped, they all gravitated towards a certain theme.
Michelle, a California transplant, was the original inspiration for creating an Etsy shop when she began to explore jewelry making with sea glass. She has since expanded to explore driftwood, stones, and shells. Jennifer, after never skiing in her life, went from bunny slopes to black diamonds in a single season, falling in love with mountain life. Sarah, the art major, had found her calling in woodworking, frequently swooning over beautiful boards. The coast, the mountains, and the forest, the things we were most passionate about combined to create Sea Ski Tree.
