For us, the best moments in life happen outdoors. Whether it’s the thrill of the hunt, the solitude of a mountain sunrise, or the perfect cast on a quiet river, nature has always been our escape.
We’re Phil and Debbie, a husband-and-wife duo with a love for adventure, self-reliance, and the simple joys of being outside. Phil is an Emergency Management Director, and Debbie is a dedicated nurse. Life keeps us busy, but we always find time to fuel our passion for the wild. Phil, in particular, has an obsession—fly fishing! Any chance he gets, you’ll find him on the water, chasing the perfect drift.
We started Search for Solitude Outfitters as a way to blend our love for the outdoors with our creative side, crafting unique handmade goods with our laser machine and resources for fellow adventurers. Plus, let’s be honest—we wouldn’t mind a little extra $$ to fund our next fishing or camping trip!
Our shop is more than just a business; it’s a reflection of our lifestyle. We believe in quality, practicality, and self-reliance. At the heart of it all is our family—our son Chris, daughter Erin, and our granddaughter Nella, who keeps us on our toes and (rightfully) claims the title of "boss" in our household.
