I've always loved the creative process. Over time I decided to take a leap and go from creating as a hobby to creating as a business.
I recently directed my independent website, Outlaw Glam, to my Etsy shop. It had made keeping track of orders and customer correspondence more streamlined and gives me more time to keep creating, which is what I love!
My favorite part of the creative process is thinking up new ideas and directions to take my work in. This shop is centered on my vintage inspired pieces. I'm a huge fan of anything vintage but my most favorite would have to be vintage jewelry.
Whenever I see vintage items I imagine there's a wonderful story behind them and it’s intriguing to think about their history.
One of my favorite parts of this business is doing art shows, I love talking to and meeting new people. Since I'm unable to actually meet most of my Etsy customers the feedback they leave me is so important. It makes me feel like I have a connection to them and I love hearing their reactions upon receiving one of my pieces.
I'm truly grateful for every sale I receive and am honored when someone decides to spend their hard earned money on something I've created.
