SeedGeeks is an independent, family-owned heirloom seed and sustainable living company.

SeedGeeks was started by Marc and Angela Adler and naturally grew from our desire to live more sustainably, reconnect with our food sources, and help others to do the same. We strive to educate on the benefit and necessary preservation of heirloom variety seeds, seed saving, and organic gardening.

Our 50 acre heirloom seed farm serves as a trial and demonstration garden for the many varieties of seeds we offer, as well as a successful, working model for sustainable agriculture. Along with the heirloom gardens, our farm is home to honeybee hives that have ample forage of flowers and free-range chickens that provide help with pest control & composting. We strive to make use of all the abundance that our farm brings by sharing with friends & family, canning & preserving, and using much of what we produce in our products including our lip balms, soap, and raw honey.

We are passionate about all aspects of sustainable living, but the harvest begins and ends with a reliance on heirloom open-pollinated seeds. Each seed tells a story, not just of our history, but also of our future. According to the FAO, since the 1900s, 75% of the world’s edible plant genetic diversity has been irreversibly lost. In the U.S., this figure is a staggering 95%. Once a seed variety is lost, it is lost forever. By growing and offering only open-pollinated seeds that can be saved and shared by home gardeners and farmers alike, we aim to help keep these stories alive for many generations to come.

When will my order be shipped?

Do you include growing instructions with your seed packets?

Each Seedgeeks seed packet includes detailed growing information to help make growing easy! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions that aren't covered by our packets!

Are your seeds untreated, non-gmo, and US grown?

All Seedgeeks seeds are open pollinated, untreated, US grown, and non-gmo. We are one of the original signers of the Safe Seed Pledge and happily endorsed it nearly a decade ago. We pledge that we will never knowingly buy, sell, or trade genetically-engineered seeds or plants.

USPS says my item was delivered but I don't have it!

All Seedgeeks orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. If the tracking says delivered, please check with other family members, neighbors, and your mail carrier. It may have been prematurely marked as delivered and you may receive it the following day.

It's the customer's responsibility to provide a secure delivery location. If your package is not found, Seedgeeks will contact your post office and initiate a missing mail investigation. USPS package deliveries are confirmed with accurate GPS coordinates. In the case of a GPS confirmed mis-delivery, we will replace your lost package. If your package was stolen, please file a police report asap and email us a copy. We will initiate an investigation with the US postal inspector.
