Hi there! My name is Alex 🥺💕 and I’ve been painting and drawing most of my life. I’ve switched mediums quite a few times, from watercolors to colored pencils, acrylic to needle felt, clay sculpting to embroidery, and up until last year I’d occasionally do portraits.
I never really had much time to paint due to school and work, but during the shutdown covid caused, I was able to fall back in love with art and truly do whatever I’d like with all the time I had. Eventually, I stumbled upon glass painting and it truly inspired me so much - something I haven’t experienced in years.
Being able to merge my love for anime, as well as art into something was really amazing. There are so many of us that have that comfort anime, or a character maybe you really identify with and see some of yourself in - or maybe one that just had such an important impact on your life and you’d just like a little piece of something to hold near and dear to your heart.

5 out of 5 starsI love how Alex pays attention to every detail from the painting up to the packaging. Zenitsu was really painted with care and it speaks for itself how Alex really loves doing her work. The packaging was arranged in a really neat way and at the same time ensures that the painting would be received without any damages. Looking forward to more paintings ❤️

5 out of 5 starsI am in awe of Alex's artistic abilities and attention to detail. This was NOT an easy request as I had three characters and a caption. It matches the scene perfectly! She even included some candy, stickers, and a hand written note. I am so excited to have her art at my house. Thank you Alex!

Frequently asked questions
How much are paintings?
They can range from $180 for a 5 x 7 and go from $250+ for more detailed, complicated scenes on an 8 x 10 size, as well as 11 x 17 which can start at $400+ depending on the reference provided.
Before agreeing to a commission, I need to see the photo beforehand to approve if it’s something I can do, and how much to price it!
Preferably, the higher quality the photo is better! It’s difficult to work on a piece when the reference is low quality or blurry where some details might be lost, so that’s a big help!
Please know that it’s just me painting and some can take anywhere from 2 hours up to 14 hours in total to paint so it’s a labor of love!
Sizing details
I currently offer 3 different sizes! There is the more popular 8 x 10 which I can paint more detailed scenes on. And I also offer 5 x 7 which I usually reserve more for simple scene or memes!
I also recently added a 11 x 17 option which is quite large, so those are great for very detailed pieces that can benefit from having more of an rectangular size.
All measurements are in inches!
Care instructions
The painting itself is on a pane of glass, or phone case, with layers of acrylic paint to achieve the desired scene! The paint won’t rub off easily and you’d need to actually pick or chip at it to have it come off, as it’s also sealed with multiple layers of sealant to preserve the paint and integrity as much as possible!
The front of the glass can be wiped with a cloth to get rid of fingerprints or dust, and the back can be wiped gently as well. If there’s a stubborn fingerprints or the like, I recommend using a window cleaner like Windex, just a spray or two on a cloth to wipe them away gently. Please avoid leaving the surface wet as it may reactivate the sealant and paint and cause smudging, as they’re both water based!
Custom and personalized orders
I work strictly by reference photos and therefore I don’t paint custom portraits of people! But most anime scenes are definitely a yes!
How well is it packaged?
I try my best to pack my paintings as securely as possible! Each piece is placed in a foam pouch then placed in between two thick sheets of foam and taped shut to prevent it from moving around! I then bubble wrap the whole thing multiple times and seal it with tape! It’s placed a in a box snuggly with ‘fragile’ stickers on the outside ready for shipment!
How do I go about placing a custom order?
So firstly, you can send me a message letting me know you’d like a custom painting! I’ll ask for a photo of what you have in mind so I can approve the photo/scene and let you know how much I would charge for that.
Once that’s been taken care of, I would then make you a listing here on Etsy to be able to purchase said painting and I would then begin working on it for you!
It typically takes about 5-10 hours to finishing a painting on average so I’ll let you know when I would be done /roughly/ with it and I would update you on the finished product before shipping it out!
