Thoughtfully designed sensory learning and comfort products
Hi! I’m Ekaterina, the founder of SenseMotorik. I work with children and design sensory products based on real needs I observe in practice. I wanted tools and materials that are calm, durable, and intuitive — so I started creating them in small batches in Austria.
SenseMotorik began with wooden learning materials, but is gradually expanding to include sensory comfort products, such as weighted blankets and textiles that support calm routines and bodily comfort. What connects all products is the same approach: clear structure, honest materials, and thoughtful use.
Each design starts with simple sketches and test pieces. I observe how children and adults interact with the material, then refine shapes, textures, and details until the product feels natural to use and easy to integrate into daily life. Wooden elements are laser-cut from natural wood, hand-sanded, and quality-checked one by one. Textiles are selected for comfort, durability, and suitability for sensitive skin.
Production is intentionally kept small to maintain quality, reduce waste, and allow for replacements when needed. Orders are packed with care in recyclable packaging and shipped across the EU.
