Yes. A lot of customers have slightly altered the instructions (measurements, materials, etc) to customize it and make it their own. The instructions are easy to follow and allow you some flexibility if you want to make some 'alterations'. In some cases, the instructions even mention/suggest other alternatives. As many of the reviews mention, the changes they made "were easy to do". I hope that helps. Happy building!

To receive the instructions after purchase, Etsy will instantly email you an order confirmation with a link that gives you access to download the files. If you don't receive them, you should be able to login to your Etsy acct and find them. Once logged in, go to ‘Your account’ (in top right corner of website I believe). In that drop down, there should be a ‘purchases’. That should take you to your 'Purchases' and then the digital downloads.
If that does not work, the Etsy help page should be able to answer your question of where to download: help.etsy.com/hc/en-us?segment=shopping
If that doesn’t help, check the Spam folder in your email. Or, as a last resort, you can email Etsy's Customer Support with the order number.

You will NOT receive an actual mailbox.

YES! All of the instructions sold by Sensei Creations take the confusion out of any build. You won't be spending hours trying to 'figure it out' or wondering if your measurements are right. They save you time, headache, and spending multiple trips to the hardware store.

Yes. Most home improvement stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, etc) will cut lumber you purchase from them. In many of my experiences, they will do it for free. In some cases they will charge you $0.25 per cut (or something minimal like that).
And if you don't feel comfortable with that: for nearly all of my builds, a good 'ol hand saw or hacksaw will get you the results you need.

Unfortunately, our store policy does not offer refunds or accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations.
REASON: once the files are sent, it is impossible to ‘return’ or cancel a digital order... because the files are automatically sent upon clicking the purchase button. Which makes it impossible to stop the digital ‘delivery’ process. I hope you understand.
That being said, you won't regret your purchase. We have had hundreds of sales and have NOT had a single customer find the instructions to be unhelpful. The reviews don't lie.
