How I became crafty...
When I was a little girl, I loved going to my grandma's house to make crafts. She had a closet in her living room that had a lot of craft supplies and she would let me use whatever I wanted. My grandma taught me how to sew clothes for my dolls, crochet and many other creative things.
When I was in high school, I took home-ec and then a sewing class. I loved it! However, it wasn't until I had kids of my own that I got back into being crafty. I started scrapbooking, then card making and then I started simple sewing projects. I also ventured into making hair accessories for my daughter because she was requesting different colors that I couldn't find in stores.
I opened my shop in 2011 after having several requests from my daughters friends asking me to make hair accessories for them. I still make hair accessories but my main focus now is my sewing products. I love to sew and take some fantastic fabric and make it into something fun, fashionable and useable. I usually make something for myself first, and if I love it, I make it for my shop.
