Workable pattern, but the instructions were confusing and I had to do a lot of guesswork

The bolero is easy to make if you have some basic sewing skills. However, there's a problem with the pattern; the shoulders are too large on both the front and back pieces. I had to adjust some of the pattern pieces. I still managed to finish it, but the stitching for the sleeves wasn't easy. I'm not sure if I'll make another one in a better fabric. I've included a photo. The picture doesn't look great, but actually, wearing the bolero with a summer dress, it's not too bad.

Pattern easy to understand and modify to your liking. Very satisfied with my purchase.

You still need to have a printer

Very easy pattern, everything is quite simple and understandable!! The only downside is the glue, which is very hard to understand, even with the illustrations provided. I'm not sure I sewed it correctly, but the result is similar to what was described!

I have over 35 years sewing experience and this pattern is awful. 1st, the way the pattern prints, if it’s at the edge of the paper, you’ll be missing parts. Not a big deal except when it doesn’t include the matching notches. 2nd, the instructions are NOT clear at all. 3rd, it has a long straight piece that goes along a corner, so it goes together a little wonky and of course the instructions are confusing. This is supposed to be a very simple bolero/shrug and it’s going in the trash! Waste of time and $. I’m guessing this is an AI generated pattern/instructions. 👎

I bought this pattern to use for my Client bolero shrug for a wedding. Unfortunately I realized the pattern assembly process was a bit difficult, however, it required a lot of altering and I was able to eventually get it done. Because the pattern didn't line up the sizing is off. I ended up using another pattern.
