A Collection of Curated Vintage Sewing Patterns
🪡 About Sewing Pattern Archive
I’ve been collecting vintage sewing patterns for over 25 years, ever since I stumbled upon a forgotten stack of 1950s Simplicity designs at a thrift store. I was instantly captivated by the hand-drawn illustrations and the elegant lines of mid-century silhouettes. Over time, these paper treasures didn’t just fill drawers—they sparked a creative journey that led me to sewing, designing, and preserving fashion history.
As I studied the structure and detail behind each pattern—every dart, pleat, and collar—I began designing garments of my own. In 2015, I launched Apricity, a dress collection rooted in vintage silhouettes and reimagined for modern life, each piece influenced by the timeless design language found in these patterns.
Now, I’m sharing my curated archive with fellow sewists, designers, collectors, and vintage fashion enthusiasts. Every pattern in my shop is carefully chosen for its rarity, style, and condition. Each one is inspected, preserved, and shipped in archival-safe packaging, ready to be used or treasured for years to come.
Whether you’re here to stitch up something special, collect a slice of fashion history, or simply admire the artistry of a past era—I’m so glad you’re here.
Thank you for stopping by,
Eileen
