Adorably Simple Cross Stitch
I was immediately hooked on cross stitching from the moment I was introduced to it almost 20 years ago. If you are orderly and analytical, like me, then cross stitching is THE perfect creative outlet. I mean, what’s more orderly and analytical than counting?!
Back then, it was hard to find simple patterns that had a polished style. So much of what was being offered was either way too complicated or just too old fashioned, so I started doing my own thing.
Designing patterns is so much fun, but even more than that, is actually stitching them. The handiwork is SO important to me and it is what makes Sewingseed different. You will always see an actual stitched example in my photos, tried and tested by me. I wouldn't expect you to take on a Sewingseed project that I haven't done myself. It is my commitment to the craft.
If you have never cross stitched before, I encourage you to try it. If you are like me, and like to keep your hands busy, it is a fabulous craft to learn! And if you can count, you can do it!
