WELCOME TO THE BRENTWOOD BOOKSTORE • Welcome to Brentwood University — where Saturdays belong to the Bears, nights belong to Greek Row, and some traditions refuse to stay buried. • The Brentwood Bookstore is your doorway into the fictional world of Brentwood University and the DELTA CHI EPSILON UNIVERSE, an original story universe born from the screenplay Delta Chi Epsilon: Fury and expanded through the graphic novel Shadows Beneath the Row. • It started with a simple idea: create a college horror story that felt like it existed in a much bigger world. Not just characters and a plot, but an entire university with its own history, traditions, football team, Greek Row, rivalries, friendships, secrets — and a past that refuses to stay buried. • That idea became BRENTWOOD UNIVERSITY — home of the Brentwood Bears, Delta Chi Epsilon (ΔΧΕ), Kappa Omega Zeta (ΚΩΖ), and the mystery at the center of Shadows Beneath the Row. • — FROM SCREENPLAY TO UNIVERSE — • The journey began with the original screenplay Delta Chi Epsilon: Fury, written by Mark Chavez and Tanner Strodtman. The screenplay introduced Brentwood University, Delta Chi Epsilon, Greek Row and a mystery rooted in fraternity history, loyalty, brotherhood and the consequences of traditions passed from one generation to the next. • But Brentwood had more stories to tell. • The world expanded into Shadows Beneath the Row: A Delta Chi Epsilon: Fury Graphic Novel, bringing Brentwood University to life visually and expanding its campus, characters, houses, traditions and mythology. What began as a screenplay was becoming an entire universe. • Then came another idea: WHAT IF BRENTWOOD UNIVERSITY HAD A REAL COLLEGE BOOKSTORE? • — THE BRENTWOOD BOOKSTORE — • That’s what this shop is meant to be. Rather than simply putting the title of a story on merchandise, we’re creating the kinds of things you might actually find if you walked into the bookstore at Brentwood University. • Brentwood Bears gear. ΔΧΕ fraternity apparel. ΚΩΖ sorority merchandise. Homecoming shirts. Greek Row designs. Hats, sweatshirts, drinkware, golf gear, accessories, collectibles and more — all inspired by the university and the world surrounding it. • Some designs come directly from moments, sayings, symbols and traditions within the stories. Others are created to feel like something a Brentwood student, alumnus, fraternity brother, sorority member or Bears fan might actually own. And some may contain details that mean a little more once you know the story. • LOOK CLOSELY. • — BUILDING THE BRENTWOOD UNIVERSE — • Brentwood isn’t just a name on a sweatshirt. There’s a campus. A stadium. Greek Row. Fraternity and sorority houses. Restaurants and hangouts. Homecoming traditions. Alumni. Rivalries. Secrets. And decades of fictional university history. • Our goal is to make Brentwood feel like somewhere you could actually visit. The merchandise is part of that world-building. When you wear Brentwood University gear or a set of ΔΧΕ or ΚΩΖ letters, you’re carrying a small piece of that universe beyond the page. • — AN ORIGINAL FICTIONAL UNIVERSE — • The stories, characters, fictional organizations, mythology, locations, symbols, branding and world-building represented throughout this shop originate from the independently created Delta Chi Epsilon / Brentwood University Universe. IT’S THE BEGINNING. • New stories will bring new characters, mysteries, traditions, locations and merchandise. A shirt might reference something from the graphic novel. A fraternity design might look like something hanging inside the ΔΧΕ house. A Homecoming piece might look like it came straight from the Brentwood campus bookstore.
