4 out of 5 starsI had no problem downloading, however getting it to print on A4 or A3 was not achievable for me. the pattern/wording was cut off or cut in half, after followed all instructions. It still looks like a brilliant pattern to have all the same.

Frequently asked questions
How do digital sewing patterns work?
Digital sewing patterns are sewing patterns that can be delivered to you immediately. You buy it, you have it, you print it, and you start to sew when you want!
Basically, you will receive a link to download the pattern sheet and the instructions file. Next, you can print the pattern sheet at home using a US letter size or A4 printer and our assemble-at-home file or, you can go to your local copy-shop and print it on a large format printer (plotter) with our copy-shop ready file (not available on the Brooklyn Cap and Leggings yet). Then you can start to sew using our step-by-step detailed instructions.

Do your patterns have seam allowances included?
Yes, all seam allowances are included. Please follow the instructions.
Some of your listings are very similar. How can I know if they are different patterns?
For search optimization, we need to have more than one listing for the same pattern, as they have different views. For example: Our Rosa Romper can be made with or without Peter Pan collar, and with a gathered or pleated waist. In this case, you will find different views on different listings but the pattern is the same. When in doubt, please read the listing description and look for the pattern reference (e.g.: SL1606 BBS or CS*).
* BBS stands for Baby Sizes and CS stands for Child Sizes
How are your sizes organized?
Our sizes are organized by baby + child sizes. Some models are only for babies, and some models are for babies and bigger kids. Usually, a pattern that is both for babies and bigger kids will be available separately so you can buy only the sizes you want. In these cases, the pattern will be available as a bundle too, in case you need all sizes.
Baby sizes start on 0-3M and go up to 2-3YRS.
Child sizes will depend on the model. Some start at 9-12M size (when the model isn’t available in baby sizes) and others start at 2Y or 3Y. Check the item description to be sure it includes the size you want. Feel free to send us a message if you have any doubt.
Can I sell clothes made from your patterns?
Yes, as long as you sew them yourself and tag us. We are very happy to support other small businesses. For production, please contact us for a license.
Can I hold workshops in my town using your patterns?
Yes! As our patterns are licensed for individual use only, each person will have to buy their own copy. We are glad to offer you a discount for multiple patterns. Please send us an email to shakalakastudio@gmail.com
