How did I start my shop?
Well my Etsy shop is just starting as type this. However, I have always worked for someone else. I make art on demand for someone or someones else. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies, you name it, I have made it. I wanted to work for me. I want to make art that I love and I want to share it with you all. As a pastry chef I have to work with color, texture, and understand the science behind the food. Making things and running this Esty shop is an amazing departure from my day job and I love doing it. I get to stretch my other arting skills and share them with you.
Eco Friendly Packaging:
My goal in opening the shop from the ground up is to have all eco friendly packaging. I have sourced mailers that are made from sustainable bamboo. I have sourced 100% recycled boxes. I have sourced compostable mailers. I have cellulose clear packaging that is biodegradable and compostable. I have one large mailer that is 100% made from recycled plastic, and can be recycled.
My goal is to be as eco friendly as possible in my packaging. If you have suggestions or know of other companies that have eco friendly packaging, please feel free to message me.
