SheetArchitect Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how and why we collect, store, use and share your information when you purchase from or contact SheetArchitect, in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Information we collect
To fulfil your order and provide customer support, we collect only the information Etsy shares with us for a transaction: your name, the email address associated with your Etsy account, your billing/shipping country, and the details of your order. Because our products are instant digital downloads, we do not need or store a physical shipping address. We also see any messages you send us through Etsy Messages. We never ask you for card numbers, passwords or bank details, and Etsy never shares your payment card information with us.

2. Why we use your information (legal basis)
We use your information to:
- provide the products and services you requested (delivering your digital files and honouring your purchase) - legal basis: performance of a contract;
- answer your questions and provide support before and after your purchase - legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping our customers;
- comply with our legal and tax obligations (for example, keeping transaction records for the period required by law) - legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.
We do NOT use your information to send unsolicited marketing messages, and we do not sell your personal data to anyone.

3. Sharing your information
We share your information only as needed to run our shop:
- with Etsy, which hosts our shop and processes the transaction and communications (see Etsy's own Privacy Policy);
- if required by law, to comply with a valid legal request from a public authority.
We do not share your information with any third party for their own marketing.

4. Data retention
We keep your order and contact information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including to meet the accounting and tax record-keeping periods required by law. After that, we delete it.

5. Your rights
If you are located in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through Etsy Messages. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
