Does this work in Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers?
These templates are built and optimized for Google Sheets, which is free with any Google account. Some listings include a Excel version — but advanced dashboards, dropdown filters, and automated features work best in Google Sheets. Apple Numbers is not supported.
Will this work with my local currency and tax rates?
Yes. All templates allow you to customize the currency symbol to match your region. Where available, you can also set your local tax rate. Check the individual listing description to confirm which settings are included in that specific template.
I am not a "spreadsheet person." Can I easily break the formulas?
No. All formulas are locked and protected. You only type into clearly marked input cells — everything else is handled automatically. If you make a mistake, just press undo. Nothing will break.
Is there a limit to how many transactions I can track?
Each sheet is pre-formatted with 150 to 1,000 rows depending on the tab. If you need more, simply add rows via the Google Sheets menu and drag the formulas down — the dashboards update instantly.
Can I customize the categories to match my business?
Yes. In the Setup tab, you can rename your income types and expense categories to match your specific business. Your dropdown menus update automatically throughout the sheet.
Can I update my data on the go?
Yes. Since these are Google Sheets files, they're stored in your Google Drive and accessible anywhere. Download the free Google Sheets app on iPhone or Android and update your numbers from wherever you are.
Can I share this with my team or business partners?
Your purchase covers personal and internal business use within a single company. You can share read-only views, PDF exports, or printed copies with clients and accountants. Redistributing, duplicating, or reselling the editable template outside your business is not permitted.
