Well where to begin? I was a hairstylist for 17 years. I have always love using my hands as a tool. After we relocated I decided to stay home with my children. Currently I am homeschooling both of my daughters. One that is 15 and the other 6. Yes, challenging but very rewarding.
Years ago I started selling online to bring in an extra income with my children's boutique. Although I loved it and found that I was still lacking the fun spirit we all want to have when we work. I ventured into a new world and started studying and learning the craft of making jewelry. For 2 years I strictly sold jewelry supplies which I love and still do. I have found my passion is Czech Glass and Gemstone. Vintage items such as bead or metal I am always on the lookout. I love seeing what I can restore or re-invent.
Along the way I found one of my passions is copper. There is absolutely no other metal for me that compares to its beauty. Not that I don't like other metals. I just love the unique colors copper can bring. Which led me to enameling. Wow is all I can say. I love torching and can not get enough.
The torch really is addictive isn't it? Leading me down the road to molted glass.
Being creative, I find it very relaxing and very rewarding. Each day I look forward to seeing what I can design next.
The colors I bring together I keep unique to my own design. I am very fond of bohemian colors with a gypsy twist. Silver glass has really allowed me to stretch my creativity beyond my own imagination.
